Terms & Conditions Of Hire

I understand and agree to the following terms and conditions of the loan with Ardrossan Community Development Trust

Where appropriate, I will ensure that anyone using the deck chair understands our agreement and they will carry out the following with me.

I am responsible for the security of any deck chair loaned to me. I will take care of the deck chair that I am provided with and will not leave it unattended.

I will not abuse the deck chair loaned to me, in particular, I will not use the deck chair for for any purpose other than for its intended use.

I will look after the deck chair that I am provided with and take reasonable care of it for the Loan Period. If a fault develops, I will report this immediately to the Kiosk Staff on duty and/or return the deck chair to the Location.

I will return the deck chair to ACDT at the end of the Loan Period, or earlier if it is no longer required. If the deck chair is lost or stolen I will report this to the Kiosk Staff and to the police as soon as possible.

I will return the deck chair in a clean condition and at the appointed time at the end of the Loan Period. I understand that ACDT reserves the right to charge me for loss or exceptional damage to the deck chair

I understand ACDT does not insure the user of any deck chair provided on loan and that ACDT is not responsible for any injury or any loss or damage to any property or to any person or consequential losses resulting from my use of the deck chair I take full responsibility for any such injury, loss or damage to any property or to any person or any consequential losses arising from my use of the deck chair howsoever caused. For the avoidance of doubt ACDT does not seek to exclude or limit its liability for any death or personal injury directly resulting from its own negligence.

I agree to my personal details to be kept on file for the purposes of this loan. This includes photographic ID, I understand that these details will not be used for any other purpose other than for managing this and future chair loans.
